Lightbulb reading through before posting a new topic

Does anyone else think it would be agood idea for people to read through the posts before adding a new topic???Sometimes I personally find that the topics are the same???, just worded different. A neat idea would be , If a new pet is out, do a topic title "SHare all your guinea pig stories" that way everyone can just post about that pet in that area and we wouldn't have so many other topics to answer.

I agree, yet I don't.
Yes they are worded differently, because each person has a different opinion. While that would be a good idea, people wouldn't be able to express their individuality in their thread. To me, I like looking at threads and making them. Making them, however, you can make it unique. Add cool titles and a great title. People have a different way of saying stuff, and want their thoughts heard, so that's why there are alot of the same threads, you know what i'm saying?

I agree that you should take a quick skim of the section to see if the question you are answering has been answered - I can't count how many "WI Bucks?" threads I have seen. However, sometimes there are just so many posts and you can't sift through them all to see if there is a question that is similar or the same as yours, so I see where people just post sometimes too.
