I know that in the rules it says something about using text speak to make your posts in Englsih. Well, I was wondering if I am allowed to make a thread in either the open mike or join the club section where I can teach some other WI members the Spanish I've learned. I would not post conversations in Spanish, just post lessons on verb conjugation and vocab. Is this allowed? I just wanted to make sure, because I was a little confused by the rules. Thanks.
Yes, it would probably be perfectly fine to make a Spanish club. The rule just means that your posts should be typed out clearly in the forum instead of in chat/text speak like "hi how r u, wnt to b friends?" and that sort of stuff.
I think language clubs would be a great addition to the Clubs section or the Open Mike section. Lots of kids take a language in school, and they could all practice what they know as well as teach others. I'll bet this is an activity even teachers would approve of!
