I agree completely with you! I think everyone should do their best with spelling, grammer, and punctuation. I also think that the smilies here on WI are amazing and certainly allow you to express yourself, but too many smilies do get annoying. I've always felt that a , , or are kind of nice to add when it fits what you're posting.
This has been brought up several times already and my response is always the same. This is a site where children, people with special needs and those for whom English is a second language frequent. These posts are only going to make those people feel worse.
If you can not read a post due to a color choice you can always highlight it. If you can not read it due to spelling/grammar skip it.
In the rules it clearly states: * Using 'Text Speak' in your posts Please take the time to write replies in English."
I can understand the frustration but do not feel strongly about it. I believe that WI should be a place where we do not need to constantly worry about our spelling or grammar.
