yes, but we have a wide age range on here. An adult might be interested in losing weight possibly. Just ignore the ads if they bother you.

I have a pop-up blocker.

You may want to consider putting that on.

I was just referring to them being age suitable for some people. I don't really care for something like that either, but if it keeps the site running for free, then I have no problems. As long as the ad is not have anything inappropriate, I don't see why it is a problem.

I don't think that Justin really has a ton of control over the ads...That's what I heard last time, am not sure if it's correct...

I'm inclined to agree with you, Lilypad.

Truly, I never even notice the ads; I once went searching for them, though, so I would know what everyone had been posting about! (I tend to have 'tunnel vision'--only focusing on what is really interesting to me, like the threads!)

Anyway--I did notice some ads, and they seem to be a mixed bag of topics--religious, weight loss, auto insurance, but certainly nothing inappropriate for anyone 18. (In fact, there are probably many teens under 18 that actually might be interested in losing some pounds, and that's great---an ad that promotes healthier eating is actually a really good thing.)

The ads are here to keep the site free, and they are far more innocent than most of the advertising teens are subjected to on the television set, and in magazines.
