Default Please Make Separate Forums For Members' Shops!!!

We need to have separate forums for members' naming and decorating shops.

When you put them in the naming help and decorating help forums, they take up too much space. The titles are usually several lines long, in hopes of attracting "clients."

You have to scroll past all of them to find members' threads asking for help. Then, after only a couple of days, those threads are pretty much lost, having been pushed onto the next page. Nobody will post on those threads then.

Don't get me wrong, I think that it's great that members get to open their shops. There are so many creative people here on WI, and it's great to help each other. But these shops need their own space. They get in the way of members who prefer not to use them. When asking for help, some members specifically ask you NOT to recommend your shop. That's how frustrating it can sometimes get.

And I actually think that when you put these shops in the help forums, that encourages the shop owners to advertise on other members' threads when they are having a slow day. I have seen people advertise their decorating shops on 4 or 5 threads that were asking for help, one right after the other, minutes apart.

If you have a naming or decorating shop here on WI, please weigh in on the subject, too. I have great respect for your creativity, and I value your opinions!

I think you have a great point here. They should definitely give them their own section to prevent this from happening! (:
