It is hard to read, but usually I just highlight it. No biggie. It's not a problem with mods obviously, (they put it there), but I would ask those of you who have neons, yellows, pastels, bright pinks, etc, to change it so it isn't a burden on our users to read it.

:bokbok: I love my colors but when I want to say something here I will generally use black or a darker color because I want to make it as easy as possible for others to read what I write. I'm limited in time because I work full-time, want to spend some time on my Webkinz site, and am involved in different things as well, and trying to read things in the lighter colors IS difficult and takes more time. So I do skip over some of those posts unless I think that person is writing something that might be helpful or informative. (Then I will highlight the text to make it easier to read. Otherwise I just skip over those posts.)

What could help those who want to use the light or really bright colors would be if we could change the BACKGROUND color as well as the color of our text. The light or bright colors would be easier to read on a darker background.

Like on AOL instant messenger! Or just not have the blinding colors at all.

Well of course you want people to read what you write, so a darker colour would be better, but people do choose so I wouldn't really call it a burden...

That would be good except for if someone's backround was white, and someone's was black then they would not be able to read what eachother would write. It is a great idea though!

I would think it also depends on the individual monitor. On one person's computer, the pale or bright colours may be hard to read, and on another computer they may be OK.
Personnally I find the pale colours hard to read without high-lighting. And so I agree with the original poster.
