Yes, that is why you really have to double check what you have typed before you click submit, what you may see as harmless may not be seen that way when it is just in typed words. Remember text doesn't show the emotions of lauging or joking very well.

If you want someone to be sure you are joking, add a or something of the sort. This will show an emotion that simply your text can not.

Yeah, emotes are helpful, but I would be very careful with jokes.

Yeah, like if someone makes an avatars, you could say "It's great, but I think you might tray having it a little less busy." but saying "ewww! There are way too many things in it!" is mean.
