Alright you guys I agree with you totally about arguing and ARGUING. I grew up with 6 brothers though and we teased each other unmercifully. No one really meant anything to hurt anyone. People some times think we are angry with each other---just the opposite. So I missed another thread of disagreement, Oh well, just as well. Don't ask me what I'm talking about I just didn't feel like being left out tonight.

It's awful when people do this, and then the whole thread is closed just because of them, yes, I agree, please don't be rude. We all know the rules here on WI, it's just a matter of respecting them. PLease don't get into these kinds of arguements, try to ignore the individual, and if they are breaking the rules, warn them and report them, or in severe cases, tell a moderator immeadiatly. Don't get yourself invloved.

Thank you for making this thread!! I hope people will listen to you when they're out and about in the forum. And, not just here on WI, but anywhere on the internet! Please be respectful of others and their thoughts and ideas. And also, please watch some of the things you say on WI. Kids ranging from (I'm guessing) 6+ play on WI and it is really not the place to be talking about dating, and social 'problems.' Please save that for somewhere else!

Thanks lucky3900!! (rep!)

The thing is, it's hard to tell if the other person understands. Someone might take offense even f it was meant in a harmless way

I agree 100%

Sometimes when Im trying to explain rules and values and what not, the people will keep disagree and become rude after I explain my reasons... So now Ive learned just to leave after they start becoming rude because A no one wants to get in trouble and B if someones going to be rude.. why bother taking your time to talk to them?

and sorry if i am sounding mean and spiteful but seriously it is not fair for someone to get booted off just cause someone else is mad at them.
Don't get rude about it though in the future. There is a nice way to say everything.

Yes, that is why you really have to double check what you have typed before you click submit, what you may see as harmless may not be seen that way when it is just in typed words. Remember text doesn't show the emotions of lauging or joking very well.

If you want someone to be sure you are joking, add a or something of the sort. This will show an emotion that simply your text can not.

Yes, I avoid people in life and online that I just know are going to be rude every chance they get. Save yourself the time and despair..you'll be better off in the end.

Yeah, sarcasm and joking is lost on the internet, because you cannot hear someone's tone of voice, so be sure to make sure that person knows you're kidding sometimes. Maybe add a smiley, or an "LOL" or "JK" and make sure the joke isn't offending or rude
