Okay, I think that's a great idea, but it takes away the specialness of being gifted. I'm not saying that to be rude, I just think that it's the truth. Especially if you're a GT. You guys know you are on your way to being Gifted, so why do you need to have a color for a month or whatever, and then just have it change so quickly? I know you guys that are Gifted will disagree with this thread. I just want to say that GT's are seriously almost there, and therefore don't need a color, they should be patient and just wait until they are Gifted to get a color. Webkinz don't need a color, and if they really want one that badly, they should just keep applying until they get chosen. I personally don't want to have a special color. I think that WI has enough colors.

That's just my opinion.

WI members that live in the US could have red, white, and blue usernames on Independence Day, and ones that celebrate Halloween could have an orange and black name that day. It would be just for one day, though, and there could be an option in the User CP that would ask you if you wanted to change your color for the holiday.
No offense, but I honestly think this is beginning to get way too complicated. It would be cool if it worked that way, once you have 100 helpful posts if you got that, but mods/admins have lives, they wouldn't want to spend them looking through millions of posts every day to give them a rainbow username, and if mods/admins didn't have to do it and they left it up to us to change it when we believed we had that many posts, people would be dishonest, that's just the way the world works.

I don't mind the holiday idea, though.

I don't think this is a good idea.

Does it really matter to have your username a different color? It's just a color.

Black is a fine color that no one should be complaining about. It wouldn't be fair because gifted+ members have worked super hard for there status and then what? webkinz are getting rainbow colors? No offence but I don't think this is a bad idea.

Nice thought, but I think that Gifted members work really hard to get to where they are, not as much gift trainees. They could have 0 giftz for life! I think you should work extra hard to get their Gifted status.
Also, the dancey pants letters hurt my brain...

GTs have not worked as hard as Gifted members... you honestly need 50 posts, and a good history on WI to be a GT.
but I have to say, gifted members (like miss spots) could have 0 trades, also.
(no offense meant to anyone! )

It's probably not very fair. It sounds like a good idea to you, but some people, maybe not
