I can see why that could be a good feature. But i don't really like all the control. WI is a family friendly site, does that mean they have to control every move we make? I mean, i joined WI to talk about Webkinz and stuff with other members, (and i've made lots of good friends and enjoy the comunity) but really, is it WI's responsibility to look after the younger memebers? It almost seems like it's none of WI's business how long we're on.
Anyhow, i hope that didn't sound mean or anything. Just discussing some of my thoughts. I'm not saying parental control is not good, i'm just saying, it may be a little too much for WI to deal with. I do like the idea though.
I think any site that has young children involved must consider safety. I think WI is doing that as it pertains to the requirements for the site as mentioned above. Parental control starts in the home. Sites can do their job, but it is the responsibility of each parent to monitor, and create a safety zone for their kids that use the internet.
