As someone who spent a silly amount of time making my own avvie I understand how frustrating it would feel if someone else just took it and started using it as their own. But with all the wars and conflicts going on in the world you have to ask yourself is this really worth getting angry at ??? Kindness costs you nothing yet when you give it it’s priceless.Just a thought to roll around in your heads... Count this as a smile for you all from myself and all my PACK OF PESKY PIXIES
(I really don't like the word "steal". I shall use "borrow.")
I actually half-disagree with that/ I mean, it's not worth fighting over, but I would be kind of annoyed if someone "borrowed" my avvie. I wouldn't like anyone "borrowing" my avvie because then it wouldn't be as unique. Then, before you know it, everyone will have the same one and you won't feel unique anymore. I understand if it's a freebie on an A/S shop, then I wouldn't really care, because the owner had it open for everyone. If someone "borrowed" something I made, I would let them have it if they gave me credit.
This completly and entirely my opinion. If someone disagrees with it, that's fine. I'm just speaking my mind.
Wow...people don't care?
If someone used the avvie i got from iconator, I'm fine. Doesn't belong to me or anything.
But if someone took an avvie I ordered from an av/sig shop, I'd get ticked.
Those were made for me and only me. Right?
For those of you who make your own avvies and such, it might help if you put your initials/name/some other identifier on those you make so people know they are yours.
I will be honest, I don't have the time to wander through the internet and see if an avvie I like is a common one or if it's been specially made. Now, I also don't use too many avvies that aren't built in
But labeling things you made with a personal identifier might help.
