I dislike making suggestions... because I can't handle it...
But anyways... is there anyway to enable us to close our own threads? I hate bothering staff members to close my threads. Like in the GE, I love closing my own at will. It makes things go much smoother. If this is not possible, let me know!
Obviously, we wouldn't want to abuse the option... so... I am sure this may be something you need to apply for?.. Or it just won't happen... LOL.
true disney! they are here to help anyone that needs it!! they don't mind us asking to close it since they are the only ones that have the options to and besides people might take advantage of the option(if it were ever here) easily
There isn't a way, but I am a little undecided if I think this is a good or bad idea... I mean, it's not like you can close other people's thread, but things would get kind of confusing. If you had a very popular thread, and you kept opening and closing it opening and closing it "just for a joke" it would get kind of annoying. But, I don't think most people would do that. Anyway, I would like this for shops, but I don't think for really anything else.
We tried this option for a while, but there was a conflict in the programming that caused problems. Justin may look into it in the future, but right now, with the way vBulletin is set up, it won't work.
If you need to have a post opened or closed, just red-flag the first post in the thread and type a message to the staff. It's easy for us to open and close threads. Just takes a few seconds.
