I know that most people mainly look at only newer threads and posts, I find this rude. Someone may have a really good shop, story, role play, etc. on page 3, 4, 5 etc., these threads need to be appriciated too. And older posts are also ignored. They may have a good point, idea, etc. Alot of people have been saying that it takes a long time, just look at ones with not alot of posts, I'm pretty sure the creater of the thread will appriciate a post! -wowewe
You are right in a way, but then you have to think. Do you think that everyone has time to look through all of the old posts and threads? Yes, those threads and posts may be worth seeing, but mos people just want to see things that are convenient for them to view. However, if you want someone to see your thread, put the link in your siggie or show it to a friend! Both ways are sure to help your thread become one of the ones on the front page and get some views! Rep.
Yes! When you post a new thread: It is very popular for the 5 minutes that it's "View First Unread." Then the number of posts per day goes down as it's on the front page. When it gets to the second page-- DEAD. You can post on it to get it back up but by then everyone's bored.
I agree a little bit. But, I really don't want/have the time to go through old threads and keep clicking pages...I usually posted on the bolded titles (new posts) or threads at the top, but if those topics dont interest me, I move down the page.
i completely agree! i find it a problem only a few threads are displayed when you click on part of the forum..that means one day of no one posting on your thread could mean it is doomed to float around the back pages!
the biggest problem is the houses section..i find that only the "big" houses such as, to use an example, valleygrams(but don't worry valleygram...it is still a a great house and you still ROCK) are constanly kept at the top..while other members smaller houses slowy drift down in the standings, only ot be posted on occasionally. while it is true it might be because they do not update as much so there is no novelty for people to enjoy..they might see it a different way and think no one likes their house
yea but sometimes people dont want to know that maybe u got a new webbie 3 months ago!!!! people sometimes like to see new stuff. *****HINT****** posting something on an older thread bumps it up to a new thread.
