I could be wrong, but my understanding is that if you catch the missing items error immdiately and call, they may be able to recover the items. Especially if they were lost duroing KinzPost. if you do not notice until a period of time has passed, however, the stuff is gone. I have lost alot of stuff with no recovery. I learnd the hard way not to inest too much money until all of the glitches are fized.

I called 1-800-724-5902 (United States) and asked for WKW Customer Service. I then left a message saying there was a "server error" and they called me back within 4 minutes. That's right, 4! My Seal Bathtub was restored to my account and Andre is very happy.

I was a computer programmer. Not all locations in a virtual world are the same, it depends on the methods used to do the "bookkeeping" of where those items are located. Additional backups to the vital information about storage locations of items could make it almost impossible that those could all be lost at the same time. So, a virtual "bank" could be 100% safe place for things to be kept.

Why not just do this, you ask? The duplicate of data in those arrays would mean more space occupied in memory. And they are obviously already operating at over-capacity.

Like almost everyone I have lost many items, most from my dock. Not just rares, but W-Shop beds and exclusives.

Once, I was moving some items around in a crowded storage room when a "top-of-the-hour" glitch booted me out of Webkinz World. When I logged back in, the entire room full of items was completely empty. About 15,000kc worth of Halloween furniture had disappeared. But, a call to Ganz tech support got my items all back by the next morning. Give their over-whelmed staff some credit -- they do fix some problems.

my freind got HACKED into her account, someone stole all their stuff, CHANGED the PASSWORD a few dayz later and now she had to start a WHOLE NEW ACCOUNT

I had the same problem happen to my niece. She finally got the Daredevil bed that she wanted SO Badly! The next day it was gone. I contacted Ganz and I was sent a VERY informal letter stating that they are not responsible for "Hiccups" in the game. EXCUSE ME!!!!! I wrote back and told them to call me and explain to a 9 yr old why she couldnt get her bed back. She literally cried for 3 days and checked her account everyday to see if it would return. NOTHING!

I keep telling my kids to take their prized items out of their docks. They are constant redecorating and don't finish. Tomorrow they will hear it again.

My daughter lost 4 items from her dock this week (all at once) - Dare Devil Bed, Blue Wagon, W Pond, and Trading Card Bed...Not a good Day
