This is a great point. I agree with you 100%. There are plenty of ways to post without being rude. If you have ever typed the words "no offence" in a post, then you should probably reconsider it. Ask yourself, "Was that post really nessacary?" "Is that a post that could offend someone?" "Am I over-exagerating?" . No one has to agree on anything. If you find a thread with a title or a post you don't like in it, either quote the post and tell them NICELY how they could fix their behavior, or don't even bother. Rep point for you.
softball luva you hit the nail on the head!!!! we need to rethink what we write sometimes..because if you are doubting your post, don't post it! and if you did, and don't like what you said, you can still fix it!!!!
Re: "No Offense but I'm going to insult you anyway and tell you exactly what I think whether you like it or not!"
Well said, even though you say "no offense" doesn't make the insult any different! Though you can also make it nice. Let's say you're posting on an avvie poll. you could say this: "No offense but I hate it! There's too much glitter and you're really bad at making them!" Or you could say: "No offense but it's just not my style. As long as you like it, that's all that matters!"
