I def. agree with this thread and what it stands for but I agree with Tj03's post too.

It shouldn't matter whether we have 5 spinnies and admin status but, like Tj03 said, if we don't allow these things to seperate us, we eliminate the issues in the first place.

Like i know my rainbow speech in my sigg is the epitome of what this doesn't stand for but it stands for much more than 5000 posts but more as a thanks to all of my friends who helped getting these posts a fun and giddy time

I see what you are saying googles but we bring it upon ourselves by ourselves and other people separating us from the pack.

if you see what i'm saying.

I agree with you there, totally! On my other account, I was a GG, had a spinny, and several rep boxes. Now, I don't feel any different. People should just be able to chat with anyone, and not just ignore the new people while hounding the popular ones. Kind of like at school if you ask me.

Anyways, thanks so much for making this thread. People need to see that posts aren't everything. ;]

And it's perfectly fine to have post goals, too. It's just best to try and forget about the amount of other people's posts. I know, I know, spinnies are really snazzy. x]

I defiantly agree.
It is very nicely said, thanks so much for posting this.
I think we all needed a reminder of why we are really here.
And that's to have fun.
Posts don't matter.
I agree 100%.
Nice job.

I just decided to post just so I could look at my "stars" or "post count" I actually do not know how many I have. I notice that some members have different blocks or stars, but I do not understand what they mean. What is a rep box? Why does it matter if you were a member before a certain date.

I agree! Sure, trying to get the stars is a fun challenge, but having them and seeing someone else with a lower ranking in stars makes them feel surperior and sometimes act a little rude to someone with less stars.
This was a great point to make!

Yep! All should be equal (:

Rep boxes are just a sign that someone is helpful, and that's all. If people are going to talk to someone just because of them having a lot of posts, that's kind of mean, and they are missing out on what you could be an amazing friendship. After all, at one time we all had a grey rep box and only a few posts. REP to you for this great thread (:
Thank you for taking the time and posting (:

Exactly. It doesnt matter who you are on WI, everyone is a person on the other side (:

I personally love the star idea It gives you a sense of pride, and its like your reward. You don't just earn these over night! No, you have to be dedicated, and work hard. You get pride because look, 10,000 posts, thats a lot! I can't wait to reach my 10,000.
You should be proud about your stars - it shows that you are a dedicated and active member here.

I vote for WI to stay "starry"
Thank you for your input!

Agreed! People are people, and it doesn't matter how many stars you have. You do stand out if you have a spinny star or a dozen rep points though

We are not here to talk to "other Rainbows, or GG's"

Good idea!
Rep is Reputation points, how helpful you are. (:

Yes, but some people take their "addiction" to WI to far. To where they will ignore you or disrespect you for being low on posts. I love the stars idea, but i think it is getting to far.

Someone said this earlier "People are people, no matter how big or small"
