Default Re: Music Doesnt Play Properly on my comp.. help!

I hope maybe I can help here...

This could be due to a couple of issues - either software or hardware. Are you on Windows? If yes, download the latest media player from microsoft and see if that helps. Sometimes the software can get glitchy. If you don't use the Windows Media player, see if you can get an update for whatever player you do use - realplayer, att jukebox, etc. There are many media players available for free on the internet. Just be careful what you download.

Anyhow, if that doesn't improve things, try getting a different media player than the one you are using and try that out. Then if the sound is still scratchy you know it is a hardware issue!

At that point, you'll probably have to get someone to look at your computer. If you or someone you know feels confident enough to open it up and replace the sound card, it might fix things. I wouldn't ever try that myself though! Then again it might be your speakers. Perhaps you could borrow some from a friend and hook them up to your machine and see if there is an improvement in the sound.

Good luck!
