I'm not sure which Administrator/Moderator/Founder can answer this, so I'm posting it this way rather than PM. Please forgive my newness.

I'm sure you are well aware of Ganz's new policy regarding the missing Exclusive and POTM items.

Is there anyone here at WI that has open communication with Ganz? I'm new enough to this site that I don't know the answer to that. Can we open a dialog with Ganz to resolve this so that everyone wins? They need to come up with a way to fix this temporarily until a complete fix is in place.

It costs them exactly the same time and money to award 1000kc as it does an exclusive, so it is clear that they are motivated by restricting what is available to curb selling. Surely there can be another way!

In speaking to Ganz legal department today I learned that the limit on rares in CS is due in large part to the ebay crackdown that is going on.

Ganz has a computer problem, that they seem to be having trouble fixing. They now refuse to give the missing exclusive because they fear we are all just calling to get more rare/exclusive to sell on ebay. (I have been lucky and have only had one problem adoption)

This is hurting their loyal large customer base. We need a voice to make them understand how unfair the 1000kc is when many can earn that in a matter of minutes. I completely understand their right to ban ebay selling, but they have now crossed the line.

What are YOU as the moderators/administrators/Founders here at WI able to do to help us???

personally, i'd like to think that i had some pull with Ganz, but in the one time i called them it was pretty evident that i don't.

however, i DO think, that collectively, our voice level with webkinz insider may have an impact. so i hope that thoughtful and constructive threads like along with emails may get their attention and perhaps a better solution.

i also think that if no one buys from ebay sellers, that solves part of the problem too. but as long as the seller can make money, that practice will continue.

Sn0wwhite, does no one here at WI have the ability to talk to them? Not even Justin or Wendy?

A smart company would be reading this site to make things better, and talking with the owners of this site. I'm taking it Ganz is not one of those companies.

Not buying on ebay, and writing emails and letters I don't believe will do it. We need to talk with them and fix this problem in a non-confrontational way.

I don't really know how to answer this, but just so you know, a member spoke to a Ganz rep. and they said that they have people who read forums like this every day.

Justin and Wendy, I think, have some conatcts with GANZ because a few months ago WI interviewed GANZ's Creative Director, Karl Borst.

first of all i think we should all STOP buying them on ebay if we all stop then the sellers who do not make money will stop its a chain reaction and anyway 1000 for an exclusive or PSI is not alot

I had an adoption where it was just blank in the gift package. I guess that's what happened. I didn't even know. It's pretty sad that they can't fix it for you. But I guess their reasoning makes sense, and it is just virtual stuff anyway.

We didnt get our wish token the other day on the anniversary of our joining webkinz, and I emailed them and got an automated reply telling me to go to the section and find my question and i will get an answer in my room, well we had checked there first, that topic is NOT there, (some on tokens yes, but not on 'didnt get token') So I fwd the email bk to ganz and said do not give me an automated response lying about my son getting his token, give him the dang token! and they then said back 'oh you will have to call in.' Well I work. The same hours ganz works. My son is too young to deal with it on his own. I tried calling on my lunch hour and entering the code they said to, and I waited my entire lunch, still on hold. so am I supposed to miss work to call them or what??? They ONCE AGAIN ripped my child off! I am sick of it, I am so glad their central office is not near me, because I WOULD take a day off and go tell them what I think of them. Unfortunately, my son truly loves the site, he hates the glitches, like 'please wait' constantly (we always get then when doing jobs and forest especially, then we have to log back on and it says we already did the job/forest so we LOST OUT) He had the issue with the POTM items when there were new, he had missing exclusives, and now ripped off for a stupid wish token that doesnt cost ganz a thing. I SAY STOP MAKING NEW WEBKINZ AND ITEMS TO MAKE MORE MONEY UNTIL YOU FIX YOUR SITE. STOP RIPPING OFF CHILDREN, JUST BECAUSE YOU DONT HAVE TO HEAR THEM CRY DOESNT MEAN THEY DONT!! Sorry to vent, but its not like ganz listens to us! I am just so frustrated, my son has (yes we are insane, every family memeber buys him them, they want him to have them all) 76 activated webkinz and we have about 8 of the newer ones in the closet as prizes, etc. when he earns them. My mom buys him them, his aunties buy them, my friend out of state gets him the ones I cant get him. They even got him a sherbert bunny. Dont we collectively spend enough to be considered a good customer that deserves good service???? My mom activated one lil kinz on an account to help my son get money and cso items, and she never has issues, its only on the bigger accounts I guess. Either way, HEY GANZ IT IS CHILDREN YOU ARE RIPPING OFF! US ADULTS ARE JUST STUPID ENOUGH TO PAY FOR THE RIPPING OFF!!

Thanks for listening WI pals. I just had to vent!
