Another way is to not take credit for other peoples ideas or accomplishments (even on other sites). It can cause hurt feelings and make a bad impression.

I agree, kindness is number one.
Supportive is another...someone is thrilled
with a new Webby....comment on it...be happy for another's achievement.
We can never really know how what we
say, can impact someone else.

You don't have to make history, or be top poster or anything, just do lots of small things, and they will add up to be BIG!

Another thing is, you do not have to make your mark on the whole forum. You could make a mark on one person. One time, someone wrote me the nicest PM ever!!! That was the way I remember her. So, you can make your mark on one person, and it will be suffice, at least to me it would be, because to them, it was a big deal.

Another way would be to do something really bad... but I don't advise it.
Yes, lots of people make their mark by doing something really, really good. Danathorn writes really cool songs!! Tamster is a legendary trader. Carguy posts all over the GE! People will get to know you by watching you post, trading with you, and being kind and helpful.

p.s. I will remember you IN A GOOD WAY because of this thread!

Yes because the other person might see your post and they wouldn't like it.

I had to laugh when you asked if I made it myself! I even had to ask Jazzdance how to get it into my signature!
You can just request what you want & it takes a day or so.....
Hehe, I made a thread that not everybody knows everything.
