I'm sorry you feel like that, everyone needs to be noticed! I have felt like that on here, though. Like if you normally son't post on the DCT, but you decide to join for a day, it's hard to get noticed! I think this is a great reminder!
I'm with you on this. I can (seriously) stop a DCT long enough that I leave due to no one being there. Not complaining, I think it's pretty funny, but when people skip over me, I wait for one page to build up, quote my first post, and if I still get ignored, I say something about being nice to everyone and leave. That's my system for that.
I'm sorry you're being ignored! I agree, thereis a difference between missing a post and skipping right over it.
It's in the nature of an internet forum, and especially any fast-paced thread (ie: dct) that some posts get ignored. You have to be a very fast typist to comment on everyone else's posts, and many of us are slow typists... some are young... some are hunt-and-peck...
Everyone gets ignored on these threads, myself included. It does not mean that the person is not being made welcome: it's just part of the package, and you must not take it personally.
