Default Just my opinion on the new Thread Sectioning thing

I'm not sold on this new system yet.

I suppose we'll all get the hang of it eventually, but right now, I'm slightly confused by it all. There has gotten to be so many specialized categories that it's hard to keep track of, so you never know exactly where to put a topic, or to look for something. A story on a problem with the new Aztec flooring - does that go under Rares, or Glitches? Or even "Somebody Help"?

If there was an issue that was affecting pretty much everyone in Webkinz World, I used to be able to come here and very quickly find out that it wasn't just me. But I'm afraid with this new strict sectioning off of the thread topics, it won't be as quick for me to find out whether the problem is Webkinz Worldwide, or just a problem that I alone am having.

I also fear that having your thread "Moved" might make some younger people feel like they did something wrong. Heck, I myself am a bit nervous about accidentally placing a thread in the wrong place!

Now I've been on WI for some time, so I'm basically familiar with what all sections are on here. But if I were new, I'd be overwhelmed.

Just my opinion.

P. S. I wonder if my thread will get moved!

I'm sorry, but what new system are you referring to? We haven't added any forums (other than for new games, and the rumor mill) in quite some time. Usually, if anything urgent is happening, you can find a thread about it in General Discussion!

No, it's not new forums. I'm talking about the sticky post that is in the General section, and the fact that about a dozen or so threads in the General section are all marked "Moved."

---------- heronbythesea added 2 Minutes and 22 Seconds later ----------

Oh geesh. I'm sorry. I TOTALLY misunderstood that Sticky! I thought that it was saying that we had to get everything in the right categories now. I guess I had that in my head since I saw all those "Moved" threads.

My apologies.

P. S. Go easy on me. I'm on this new medicine that is making my brain go to mush! Yesterday, a Quizzy's question said "Who does a nurse help?" and I clicked "the Cook." hahahaha.
