I have a pop up blocker on my system, & many times I get the bar on the top of the browser page that shows & states that a pop up from WI is trying to open, sometimes & have had the site cause a reboot of my system.. I am not sure what all that is about. wierd & annoying. Thanks for sharing what has been going on w/ you.

Yeah, I see these all the time too. I know they aren't from WI, so don't worry about that, but there must be something the administration can do to block these kinds of ads.
At WI, we always talk about not saying anything innapropriate or having anything innapropriate in pictures, but some of the ads that are being displyaed here are far from that. I think something should be done soon to stop this.

Im sorry about your problem. If it comes back agaifind out where its from but puting the mouse over it but dont click on it. Then go to pop up settings and type in the site name and it should block it better. Thats what i would do.

I'm so so sorry about that. I hope you don't have to leave, though.
It's not happening to me, but I believe it's happening to many people, so you are not alone.
It's probally not from WI, because WI can't control much ads.
I hope this problem will be solve so you don't have to leave; I would be very sad if you had to.

I will ask Justin to look into this... I have never gotten a pop up from WI...

If anyone sees an inappropriate ad please PM a mod/admin a link to the ad so that Justin can block that ad from showing up here.

Also if you are using Internet Explorer 7 click on tools and then pop up blocker and make sure it is turned on.

If you're using Firefox click tools, then options, then web features and make sure that block pop up windows is checked.

You can also download the google toolbar which has a decent pop up blocker. I very, very, very rarely ever get a pop up window. One every few months if that.
