Default Re: Ideas For WI Contests

Yeah i agree with most posts.
A. #2 would obviously be abused, every person, including estore members, would be posting
B. Actually, through the tons of money they make through Insider Insider subscriptions and on top of that donations... Well, there is enough money to either, or both. Probobly enough to do each several times, but once would be good enough. I mean, if they can afford three sherbet bunnies for a contest(that's over $150), and have that be only a tiny fraction of what they already make monthly... Well, if you think about it, they can afford that, and that's not all of their money, or even half, because i'm sure they wouldn't do that to all of their money.

Default Re: Ideas For WI Contests

Thanks so much for the interesting suggestions, which we will keep in mind.

However, I do have a couple of comments:

1-Birthstone Contest: We'll keep your suggestion in mind. WI already holds many contests, and offers many generous prizes. Don't forget that any income has to pay for servers etc, this is very expensive and must come first. If you wish to donate any virtual items from your WW account, towards contest prizes, please contact a staff member for details.

2-EStore for the needy: When parents do not allow their children to have eStore access, it is not up to WI to enable these children to get around their parents' rules. We have to respect the parental wishes here, as always. To me, a needy child is one without sufficient food or shelter, not one without estore items. eStore is a "want", not a "need".
