Default How Do I Add an Excel Table to a Post?

Hi. I want to add a small table I made in Excel directly into a post (not as an attachment) but when I cut and paste it loses the table format and becomes a long list of individual words. How do I get the correct formatting to show up within a post?

I searched for other threads but couldn't find any. If this has already been covered somewhere, please point me in the right direction. Thank you!

You could always take a picture of the spreadsheet. Follow the instructions in the provided link, but instead of having webkinz open, have your spreadsheet open.

Oh. I know how. I used to have that problem.

Right click on what you want. Click save as. Then use tinypic.com
to upload it. Copy the code for forums. And paste the letters on your post. Then post it, Voila!

Since the markup and formatting options for posts do not appear to handle tabs, I don't think there is any way to directly display tables. I also tried to pick a fixed-width font (like courier) and arrange columns with spaces, but even those are stripped out when you save the post. It might work if you enclose the whole thing in 'noparse' tags (check the FAQ about various formatting tags you can try. Lilypad1394's alternative is the only way I've been able to do it well though.

Thank you all.

If you want to see how it worked out, see post #16 in this thread (http://www.webkinzinsider.com/forum/...d-t189655.html).
