Wink A "Hide Avatar" Button!

I was thinking about the "Hide User Customizations" button for profiles, and thought of a "Hide Avatar" button! That way, if someone on WI can't look at flashy pictures, bright lights, etc., then they can just click on that button and they will be fine. There could also be another button for signature pictures. Please post what you think! I would really appreciate it!!!

Actually, that is already an option. It's in the "Edit Options" button in your User CP.

You just need to scroll down a bit. It's a check box. You can turn off Avvies and Siggies

That's a good idea. Some people (like me) use Avatars as a way to remember people, but then again, I can look at flashing lights without having a problem, so it would be best for people who do have that problem. Sadly, I gave you REP for your other idea, so I can't give you any now.
The Signature button is best since some write their names is flashing lights.
(:

I never noticed that before...anyways, thanks for posting!

I just thought of something now. Instead of hiding everyone's avvies and siggy pics, you could hide them individually, since there are people who aren't using animated and/or flashy images.

I like that idea, but you never know who will have flashy avatars/signatures. If the flashy images bother you, you should turn the option for avatars/signatures/user customizations off.

Yes, go to User CP, edit options, and there is one to turn off avatars, and signatures. (:

Everybody is right.

You can just to go User CP>Edit Options

And it tells you if you want to hide avatars, signatures or images posted by BB code. :]

I like the individual idea, but I also like seeing the other member's avvies and what the found/created.
