I have had to perform "webkinz surgery" on more than one occasion. Just have your mom or someone cut the string off and sew another on. One of the ways we can tell my 2 daughters' love puppies apart is because one has a red mouth and the other has pink. One's mouth came out entirely and I had to sew another one one.
I think that this is a good point to bring out for some of the users that don't think about it. If you are buying your webkinz first hand I suggest taking a close look at it. I have found on several occasions that brand new webkinz even straight out of the shipping bag have had imperfections. It is not surprising to me since so many are made. I know this can't be prevented if you buy online but ebay has the option to contact the seller. Just an idea though.
Strings keep coming out of my yellow lab! theres 2 now and thats her third!!!! HELP!!! What should I do?
Everyone's already given you great advice, so I won't add to it. I'm just posting to tell you that you are not alone, and I know how you feel: My yellow lab had a big hole in the seam along her back. I felt awful for her! (But truthfully, I would have bought her anyway, I always buy the defective ones! LOL)
I sewed her up; she's as good as new! Better, even.
Good luck, and please post your 'surgery' (if you do any) results!
