Actually tried to call the parents...who completely thought I lost my mind over something so minor...maybe minor to them - by not to me! they thought it was ridiculous and who cares about a piece of paper
Who cares about a piece of paper???? What is cash... a bunch of paper!!! Would the parents be so unconcerned if the kid took a twenty dollar bill?!?!?!?!?!?
Still having problems, let us know how it is going. My mom said that we are going to open another account with just the potm or something. Then if that does happen. We can only be good people ourselves, can't expect everyone else too. (We could only wish) then you can actually send stuff to the other account to protect it. Only you know about that one. It still only lets you send 3 items at a time. though
try to call the parents and make it clear that you don't want the child confronted with the problem. Tell them the problem and how they could help. Maybe they could say a fake problem with the computer to keep the kid off it for awhile while they look for the code.
COunt how many codes you got. It make take a while but it will sure come in handy. Hey, you could be worrying about something that is nothing. The kid could have touched it and put a drawing of the webkinz logo in his pocket and it looked like your code from a-far.
Make sure you change your password. If the child is young then he might not know what to do and try to have the webkinz on his account and throw them away.
Keep your codes in an pouch, envolope, file, in a box that has a combo lock or a drawer with a key. That way even if 1000 kids are over most likey they won't touch the stuff.
hope it helps!
use all your money up. I know this will be hard but do it. Use the money to buy lot and lots and lots of rooms. Rename every room is your house. EVERY ONE! THE ONES YOU JUST BOUGHT DONT TOUCH. THEY WILL JUST BE A NUMBER YOU CHANGE THEM ALL TO RAMDOM NUMBERS. Then after that, put all the items you can into storage and rooms that way if someone wants to hack you they will get so bored with all the rooms and all the storage they will get bored and relize you know they hacked you. Also, send very valuble items like rares and exculives to a safe account. NOT A FRIENDS ACCOUNT a nice quiet peaceful relative's account. Then use the coupons you have to buy storage. hsve empty rooms. tat way the kid will be confused. make sure you call ganz and ask i you can cancel out t codes if they can do that. email them 2. that wzy they will know you have a problem. I feel so bad for you.

Hey! Just wondering if you ever figured this problem out? I was thinking you could just call Ganz and tell them to not make any changes to your account without your personal consent. Unless the kid can guess your password and stuff, they'd have to call Ganz to get into your account, wouldn't they?
So sad.. I'm also hoping that the child didn't really know what to do with it, or hopefully doesn't have an email account of their own. If they do, the new password would have to be emailed, right? It shouldn't be hard for parents to screen the email of a young child without them knowing. I know I wouldn't allow my kids to have an account yet but I'd have the password if they did
However, I was once a computer geek and even back in the 70s/80s very young kids learned to become programmers and even hackers, I met plenty of them later in my college years!
A lot of people, adults and kids alike, don't understand that what they perceive as "mischief" can really hurt other people. Whether it's due to emotional or financial reasons doesn't matter... it's still wrong.
I'm guessing the parents don't understand what webkinz is or the time and money you guys have invested. But they shouldn't dismiss things just because it's of no value to them.
Anyhow... I remember complete disapointment years ago when my younger brother's friend stole my purse from our front hall... I hadn't known it was gone until early in the morning when someone called to say it had been dumped on their porch! Luckily I had used up the cash and the kid didn't try anything with my checkbook or id... was in for a fast grab and got nothing in the bargain! The older gentleman who found it was mortified and so worried we'd think he had something to do with it!
