I'd email or call ganz and ask to change your username......and for further help if you need it, I have a stickied thread in general discussion and chat on account safety

I tried to change my password once and it made me put in the code I opened my account with. Not one of my newer ones that happened to be sitting next to me so maybe only your first one will work... And hopefully thats not the one they took. Good Luck. So Sorry!

you should email ganz telling them that you're worried that your account might be hacked and that they should keep they're eyes peeled for lots of selling and sending on your account

thank you so much...darnnn...still so mad at myself..and especially that kid..my kids went to bed pretty upset..
will ganz really keep an eye on the account for me?
i suppose if I log in each day (which i always do)..and my password was changed..then i would know they changed something..
but then I could just change it back...

hey...if I could isolate the tags he took...could that help? i am so sick to my stomach about this...sorry

did you see my msg? don't waste your time with an email -- it won't work. they will send you a generic form letter . call them. 866-WEBKINZ. it's pretty serious (for a webkinz disaster) bc your account CAN be stolen with your codes!

(child memorized son's PW as he typd-pecked so it wasnt as bad.) it was a friend of mine so all was fine. good luck!

once you get the codes back, i'd call ganz first thing to see if there is ANYTHING that can do to prevent urther theft. all you need is the code to steal the account.

toll free: 866-WEBKINZ.
thanks so much redbear...don't think i will be able to get the codes back...but I think i can isolate them...i will call webkinz first thing...darn...
thanks points to you for sure!

I think that calling the parents and nicely telling them that you think the child may have "mistakenly" gone home with some things of importance would be the best place to start. Do you really think the young child is capable of logging in as your user name and then using one of your "missing" tag codes to change the password? I know some --- olds are more mature than others. Maybe the parents would be willing to retrieve them for you and you wouldn't have to confront the child. I feel for you, please keep us posted!
