Default immediate user input in WI tools?

Have you seen this site?
It allows members to post directly what they've seen in WW for consumption by other readers. By the way, its REALLY useful for curio shop rares. I don't see the value add for what they're doing with gems.
I mention this because their method provides a way for the entire community to participate in the web site maintenance. The way WI does it, I believe, requires members to post to forum or send a PM to a moderator, and then then the WI site managers have to take that info and incorporate it into whichever of their cool tools or dictionaries is appropriate.
I'm just wondering if there's an opportunity to add user input fields directly in the tools? Possibly with a vote agree/disagree option and/or WI verified option. The wetpaint solution leaves that site open for users to delete one anothers info, which I think should be avoided. Only moderators should have delete priveleges.
Of course one additional issue is that we often need pictures with the info and members have varying ability to get pics into the most efficient formats. But might be worth trying anyway.

That site is by a WI member, gearhead and it was created when people were having trouble tracking the curio under the new curio shop set.

It is off WI because there was no way to post in the same manner on WI. You will find the link to the wiki in the rare section of our forums :-)
