Have you noticed that more and more E-store pets are being made, rather than plushies? I understand that E-store pets is waaay cheaper and earns the company almost 'free money'. but i still would like to see more plushies rather than an online pet you can't hug. I hope they don't stop making plushies!
no offense to those who own and love their E-store pets
I agree. I have a few E-store pets, but I'm much more fond of my plush ones. Especially my google. I've had him back to when webkinz started and there were still cheeky dogs and cats. I chose my google instead though. But yeah, I'd be so sad if they stopped the plushies!
There are a number of reasons for them to continue both lines of their pets. If I posted a picture of my plushes on here it would take up a LOT of room. I have actually stopped buying the plush because they take up so much room...some of them are in another house, LITERALLY. When I moved I left about 20 of them behind and I also gave a bunch to charity. I think it was a box full of about 40 maybe more.
The virtual ones still give me the luxury of adopting but not the hassle of disposal. That is ONE reason.
Another reason? We have a LOT of people on who come from places where the physical pet is either hard to get OR they don't get them at all. eStore gives them the opportunity to have a new pet as well.
I don't think they will phase out the plush pets as long as there are kids who want to cuddle with their stuffies
I think Ganz is smart enough to continue making BOTH plushies, & estore pets. They have such a wide market for BOTH! Right now, Webkinz are still considered the "in" thing, so-I have no doubt both will still be found in abundance.
