Those lighter colors also make it impossible for me to read with my "bad eyes". I know that if I "highlight" over the text, then I can read it most of the time, but herein lies the issue. Since this is an on-going subject, I totally feel that if someone thinks their post or thread is important enough then they should use color that eveyone can read without highlighting or other means to make it readable. If they choose not to do that, then usually I just skip over that post and move on to another that the person really wants me to read, (by using visually friendly colors)
I agree. There are some people that post in those colors and it is very hard to read. I either highlight the post or skip it. I think there should be more color choices, then maybe people won't pick those lighter colors.
I think it is too bad that they use the light colors. Personally, I skip over them. They could have something really great to say...just can not see adding the strain to my eyes. I know it is not just MY eyes....My grandchildren won't read those either.
Yeah...I usually find myself skipping the post or highlighting to read it. I would really rather not burn holes in my eyes. Yellow and light green are the worst for me, especially if the person is typing in a thick font. It's just too much for my eyes to handle which is a real shame because you never know when someone who uses a really light font has something really good to say...
