Default Give an old lady a break!

This is a very small complaint but I wish WI users would refrain from using orange or yellow or light green in their posts. I want to read everything but those colors are just too hard to read against a light blue background. I know black isn't cool but it sure is easier on the eyes.

I know! I'm not an "old lady", but those colors still hurt my eyes... DX

Though I know someone's going to pop in right around now and say "it's just a personal preference thing... if you don't like it, tough luck" or something like that. But still, I'm tired of the headaches! (even my font sometimes hurts my eyes, but I wanted it to match my username... no one has an orange or yellow or lime green username... that I know of. )

I think there is a setting where you can have all font colors the same . Or, high light the post with the font that color [click and pull your mouse over the words].

Well, xD, orange is the darkest color for citrus fruits.

But, yellow, light green, light blue, and white, give me a break (I'm not an old lady)

I have to highlight those too. Some people's eyes are more sensitive than others to those colors. (though I am one of those "older" folks.)

I know. I can't see those colors sometimes when I'm not wearing my glasses, and I like to be able to read everything on WI.

I agree lol!! Even if they used bold with those colors I think it would help a little. Usually it helps if you highlight the post to read it. I just left click and scroll over the the entire message and it causes the message to be darker and easier to read.

Default Re: Give an old lady a break!

I tend to skip those posts. If I have trouble reading, I move on. I prefer the simple black text and thankfully in the places on WI I tend to hang out the most, the posters tend to use black text or something very reasonable. I wish I knew how to change it all to a text I like, but I don't want to mess up the graphics because sometimes those are the best part of a post.

I figure people that use those colors do since they know many people have trouble reading them and the writer doesn't really have anything worthwhile to write, but does so just to make themselves feel "important" or whatever.
