If I don't know the gender, I call them they, or just put she/he.
But some of them have it, and some of them don't.
It's just a choice you have when you sign up.

Then I hope your first name isnt Erica (from your WW iD you supply) cause that can identify you more than your gender.

I think maybe it could be optional?
but I was reading through the posts and i think it would be a great idea
I dont know how many times I have been caught calling a person the wrong gender, and I always feel bad about it :\

You have to go to the User CP Home, and then to the "Edit Options". From there you will see a drop-down box that says "Gender", and you select your choice!

For anyone who wants to add their gender symbol and doesn't know how: I added the instructions on the first post!

Perhaps a different way to identify this... possibly just the words "boy" or "girl" or "male" or "female" under your avatar?
yeah i get what you mean...but we should make a cute way to specify the gender. like a smiley face with the bow on top of the head as a female(like a bow in a female's hair) and a bow on the bottom of the smiley face for a male(like a bowtie on a male's neck). Just some suggestions.
