Exclamation Frustrated New Webkinz Owner

So Santa brought my daughter and me our first 4 webkinz and several other webkinz items for Christmas. I don't know what Santa was thinking because I have never been so frustrated.

1st we tried to adopt our black horse the adoption went through even though we were booted in the process but we didn't get a room or any exclusive items. Then we couldn't log in which caused the 7 year old to cry. When we finally did get back in we tried to decorate the room we got with our second adoption. We were charged for the items but the never showed up in our dock or room. Then the website was down forever. This time we were both crying. Next we tried to adopted the pet of the month. The adoption went through but when didn't get a room and we can open the present. The site keeps giving us some stupid error code. Finally we entered the code from our bookmarks. Again we got the book bags but everytime we try to choose a book we get booted from the site. I have emailed the webkinz people but of course the swamp with requests for help. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Santa's present hasn't been much fun.

Welcome to wi.But yes webkinz is international and xmas must be hard and it crashed there servers so please dont worry you as a parent should call them at there number for a direct answer for your missing items : 1-866-WEBKINZ (932-5469)

I am so sorry for all your problems. I don't know if Ganz expected and was ready for as many new webkinz as were added at Christmas time. Keep trying to contact Ganz. They will get to you and help you fix your problems. It might take a little time though. Hang in there.

There are glitches but as far as webkinz being down for much more than the usual maintenance I think it was Santas timing since He gave so many boys and Girls kinz gifts and ganz just wasnt prepared for the overload. I wish you luck and its not as bad as its been the last couple days

Oh, I am so sorry for all you and your daughter have been through. As pupnsuds said, things aren't normally that crazy on WW. Hang in there! Santa's gifts will prove to be a joy over time.

I wish you and your daughter the best. I know I get great enjoyment out of WW and WI with my children.

That is terrible for all that to happen! We also got webkinz for Christmas. I waited to adopt them and had my dd wait too, until 2 or so days after Christmas, after having so much trouble trying the first one. I would think you would have waited a bit when the first didn't go so well...

I am sure Ganz will fix to your satisfaction. They are busy, but good about fixing things, at least in my experience. Also check here when you have issues, it is a great forum to check things going on, good or bad on Webkinz World. Helps us feel like we are not the only ones having trouble.

I'm sorry that it's bee so terrible on wkz... Hang in there, it will get better...

I think there was this kind of surge at Easter and then the site got back to normal after a week or so... Hopefully it will this time too.

I encourage you to call ganz as someone already suggested... Talking directly with someone may help get current issues resolved. Make your list before you call, so that you get it all taken care of....

This is a great website forum for info and to see if others are having similiar problems and if there is any helpful solution...

I hope it all gets better... don't give up on wkz yet!!!

Oh my!

That must be soooo frustrating...Because this is my second Christmas on Webkinz World, I fully expected the WW would be dreadful and I forewarned my dds(just in case I was right)
I am so sorry, I am sure that the server problems will be worked out and I am crossing my fingers that you can get your account all cleared up.
Then you can join the ranks of the rest of us addicted Webkinz users

while you wait for them to reply (assuming you can actually get on to WW) you can play the arcade games and or do quizzys to get a bit of Kinz Kash. Ganz will be more than happy to fix any problems you have encountered while trying to adopt your new webkinz and have been known to give a few extra gifts to those as well.
