I agree. If someone wants to say that you don't have a good idea, they should say it in a much nicer way. Such as:

"That is a great idea, but I'm not all that sure it'd work. You'd have to ask."

That wouldn't really hurt anyone's feeling, therefore it'd be best.

And, if this has happened to you, don't let it get you. Some people don't realize they are saying hurtful, and don't mean it.

I know what you mean. Everyone's entitled to their own opinions, but it should be put in a way that isn't hurtful to other members. I have seen posts like that before, but the best thing is to try and not take things too personaly. I know that can be hard, but it usually makes things easier. But the majority of people here I would say are very very nice.
