You have a point, but titles are to pull your readers in, and you have to remember that this is a webkinz forum, not a writers' forum.

I agree! I've put up a ton of stories in the Creative Writing section, and they've all gotten closed due to inactivity xP. I usually don't go in the Creative Writing section, but I might just go now to check some of the less popular ones . Also, like somebody else said,we should give things a second chance.
For example,I used to hate Twilight. But one day I bought the book to see what it was like, and I've been addicted since xD. What I'm trying to say is that a story that Bob clicked on one day, read a few chapters, and thought that it was horrible, may just become a 5 star story in a few weeks ,so he would give it a second chase and realize that it was wonderful!
Great thread!

Here we have a BUNCH of writers saying they are not getting the posts or views they are seeking...How do you suppose you could assist one another

What we could all do is just try to read the stories that aren't popular if you posted here you should... I will!

I agree, I have had many stories here! And no one read or commented on them. I suggest putting a link in your siggie, that way you'll get many viewers!!! I put a link in my siggie, and now my story is five stars! I'm going to go to creative writing right now and check out all the not-so-famous books that are probably really good!

Yeah. I wrote a long ten chapter story, and no one even cared to see it. They all went to a five-star rated story that has many posts and is really popular. I think we should all try to read at east two stories a day that doesn't have many posts on it. And we should actually go on Page 2 and above and NOT stay on page one all the time.

Right Tarsky.

I LOVE reading, so that would be a section I know I would LOVE. If I ever do have time I will check it out, and I always post when I view unless it isn't something I can have any input on!!! When I first joined WI and no one knew me, I posted some really interesting threads, but nobody read them or commented. I don't know if it is more interesting when you see someone's name that you recognize? A lot of people join, post two or three or even a hundred times and poof they're gone never to be seen or hear from. I go on the birthday list every day and wish all the people listed a happy birthday and there are some that joined in 2007, or 2008 and haven't been on here since then!
That's awesome Peggios, I hope you can someday find time to read some wonderul storis that I member have come up with

That's the way I feel about Twilight. Vampires, romance? Those usually would've driven me away, but now I love the books... and the strongest of the Cullens o'course.

Thanks for the reminder, LHL-- hopefully it will help the stories get more views/reads!
Thank you Lake! That is exactly my point.

Yes, and that is what makes me a bit upset. I get so excited about writing a story and sharing it with everyone, but no one reads it.

I do agree, but like other members said, you should at least give it a chance
