I agree! I've put up a ton of stories in the Creative Writing section, and they've all gotten closed due to inactivity xP. I usually don't go in the Creative Writing section, but I might just go now to check some of the less popular ones . Also, like somebody else said,we should give things a second chance.
For example,I used to hate Twilight. But one day I bought the book to see what it was like, and I've been addicted since xD. What I'm trying to say is that a story that Bob clicked on one day, read a few chapters, and thought that it was horrible, may just become a 5 star story in a few weeks ,so he would give it a second chase and realize that it was wonderful!
I agree, I have had many stories here! And no one read or commented on them. I suggest putting a link in your siggie, that way you'll get many viewers!!! I put a link in my siggie, and now my story is five stars! I'm going to go to creative writing right now and check out all the not-so-famous books that are probably really good!
Yeah. I wrote a long ten chapter story, and no one even cared to see it. They all went to a five-star rated story that has many posts and is really popular. I think we should all try to read at east two stories a day that doesn't have many posts on it. And we should actually go on Page 2 and above and NOT stay on page one all the time.
I definitely agree. What's sad is my friend admitted, though not shamefully, to judge books by their covers. I don't see why people should do that... you could be missing out, and the cover or title may be more interesting than the books in its self... (Say, a story with a great title, but not a great story altogether, or a story with a bad title and a great story)

I have never, ever gone to the creative writing section and it is simply that I don't have enough TIME!!! By the time I check my regular e-mail, check WI, get on all my WW accounts and do the dailies, and then do some recipe combos (I am a recipe solver) I find I have spent a couple of hours on the computer and more if I have messages to answer !!! I LOVE reading, so that would be a section I know I would LOVE. If I ever do have time I will check it out, and I always post when I view unless it isn't something I can have any input on!!! When I first joined WI and no one knew me, I posted some really interesting threads, but nobody read them or commented. I don't know if it is more interesting when you see someone's name that you recognize? A lot of people join, post two or three or even a hundred times and poof they're gone never to be seen or hear from. I go on the birthday list every day and wish all the people listed a happy birthday and there are some that joined in 2007, or 2008 and haven't been on here since then!
That's awesome Peggios, I hope you can someday find time to read some wonderul storis that I member have come up with

That's the way I feel about Twilight. Vampires, romance? Those usually would've driven me away, but now I love the books... and the strongest of the Cullens o'course.
Thanks for the reminder, LHL-- hopefully it will help the stories get more views/reads!
Thank you Lake! That is exactly my point.

Yes, and that is what makes me a bit upset. I get so excited about writing a story and sharing it with everyone, but no one reads it.

I do agree, but like other members said, you should at least give it a chance

Ok, I'm going to plead ignorance here. I didn't even know there was a section on here for stories people write. There is SO much information to read on this site that I'm still trying to figure out my way around, which is not a bad thing! So if someone can point me in the right direction I would be more than happy to read your stories, as well as others' stories!
if someone hasnt answered you yet, heres the link to the section Creative Writing
