VERY annoying....happens on the rare page all the time. How many threads do we need announcing that the golf cart or Ionic column is in the shop Right Now!!? Look before you post! I know when I start a thread it gives me a list of similar threads already posted. There's your sign.

If you just hold your cursor over the title it will pop up a little window with the first line or so. That way you don't have to click unless it's something you want to read.

I know ppl take up to much space. And they are so excited that they post it and want to be to the first, to get all of the credit for it. And some1 posted in their title I just got the new chicken and lil kinz mouse!! So I clicked on it, and it wasted like a whole page almost, just to say made u look!!! It was so stupid!! Bc I wasted my time, even to read stuff over and over again!!!!!!!!! And I hate it though so Qbear, I hope that no1 steals your title on this!!!!!

Love that feature but it doesn't help the too many repeated threads problem.

lol! That's exactly why it happens! (look at all the posts in response to the front page articles announcing only which post they are!! Or the ones titled "OMG!! Look here, look here!")

I don't normally get irritated about that kind of thing, as I know it's just children displaying the immaturity that is their nature, but today I have been frustrated. People aren't even reading the thread above them before them post!! I can't even imagine what they'd do if I'd request that they SEARCH for an answer before posting, since the question has probably been posted 100 times before..... That's why I laughed when I saw this post title, because I've had to bite my tongue from making the same post today!!

I really think this is a moderation issue. It is time to enforce a few standards. Like, your post title needs to contain a short statement of what it is about. Anything saying "OMG! Look here!" will be deleted. The second, third, and any other repetitive posts on the same topic will also be deleted. And, I'm sure you can think of others. (like, post in the right forum -- it's not that difficult, if you'll just look!)

These things are clogging up the boards, and making it hard to find the good information!

For heaven's sake, kids -- if you need attention, go tell your parents! But if you're going to get on the Internet and post, then learn some manners and don't just beg for attention! It's rude and lazy to make posts like that.

Guess my 2 cents is a bit more like a $1 worth of frustration, isn't it?
