I agree about being new...sometimes when Webkinz gets old for me or frustrating, I just read a new person's posts and it makes me feel the excitement of when I was first new to Webkinz. And then the glitches and troubles don't seem so bad.
In fact, I look forward to those kinds of posts now! I always think you can turn things around to see the positive side of things if you really try, it takes practice, trust me, but you can do it too!
Hey, that's a great way to look at things! I'm going to find some of those threads and see if I can get caught up in their excitement, too!

quote=kinzdreamer;12306288]Yes I sometime see people do it and it usually heads south (no offense southern people )[/quote]

ROTFL!!! Didn't even see it like that until you stated "no offense"
No offense taken.

Hey, there's an example of how some rude posts happen. The poster means one thing, but the other person doesn't take the time to see it through their eyes...kind of what yummee2 was talking about and what I actually did in a good way to your post, kinzdreamer.

Yes the way you post sounds so energetic and enthusiastic!

I think it was confirmed that (whatever) will happen!"
I recently saw a thread about (or something like it), "GANZ made a Croc and Floral Fox??" when I was just a visitor here, and a lot of people were answering rude things. Then there were a couple posts saying things like, "Ya they did! I was so excited! I have them both! They're so cute! "
Huh? They made a Floral Fox? jk

I really want a Cheeky Dog floppy though! Without the code! They even feel softer!

Thanks for all the responses guys!

I agree with that. While that specific incident has not happened to me, I'll sometimes think I'm answering somebody's question only to find out that someone either beat me by 2 seconds, or that my answer is post #528, and someone answered in post #419. If the thread is more than a couple of pages long, I don't always have time to read every single post so it kinda hurts my feelings if someone responds to my answer with "someone already said that. Next time take the time to read all the responses before posting." One time the other response literally was posted less than a minute before mine, so I was still typing when they hit the "post reply button." It's only happened a couple of times and even though it hurt my feelings I never bothered to report it.

Funny you should say this, because I asked about this in another thread about Spam....LOL

I was asking if it was Spam if someone had already answered the question but people continued to post and answer.

Your answer makes sense, because if the thread is like 7 pages long, sometimes you don't have the time to go through and read everything. Also, just because it's 7 pages long, you can't assume that the question has been answered, either. It could have started out as a question, then became a discussion. Hm, aren't there threads around like that? LOL! hehe

Also, someone else stated exactly what you did...sometimes you'll post and you'll be typing and won't see the person or even several people before you answer the question, so when you post it seems like you were posting just to post.

Next time someone answers like that you can flag it for rudeness or if you are unsure if you should flag it or not, ask an Admin or Mod first. (You can include a link in your PM, but say you are going to flag it as well.) Every single time I "bug" them with a question, they are polite and nice to me, letting me know the best solution to the problem.

I totally agree! What I do if I see a thread like that (and I'm with ya, I have done that many times) I simply go "Oh that is pretty cool!" and not say anything about it, unfortunately some people have the need to go off and be rude.

Some people react differently. They can get irritated, not care or be interested. They might be in a bad mood. But that gives them no right to hurt people's feelings.

I agree. One time I posted someone about the W-Cares seal coming out. At first people were like" Cool! Ohh! I haven't seen that!" A week later when it was on the front page they were like" Er...That was on the front.."
I kind of hurts feelings. =[
