Sign me up. The 8 people I just answered in the last 2 days can attest to the fact that it would be benificial to me.
I'm always forgetting--unless it's flashing.
I always try to check, however, I'm always doing threads, ect.

Good thinking It'd be nice to know which area your message is from... sometimes when I'm expecting something I get my hopes up xPP

Bright red would stand out pretty good...

To sum it up,
great idea!

Thanks, Bri!

I like that too Some have suggested a dark green, and probably nothing too bright because when something bright is flashing, it sometimes hurts mine (and others') eyes. I love getting PM's and VM's too, it definitely makes me feel special Thanks for posting!

I agree!
A blinking orange light would definitely alert me of a new profile message...instead of something thats the same color as everything else lol.
Good idea

(Or any color, not necessarily orange)

Hi MsHoliday!

Join the club I read the messages, then go to check something else, and then I forget to reply back. I feel so bad whenever I do that, LOL! A flashing light will definitely remind me too

Thanks for posting!

I think the red would be better for PMs... but we're already so used to seeing blue as the PM notification...

Thanks, Hillary!

I agree: I *dislike* it whenever I miss a message and don't reply immediately. Thanks again for posting!

Yeah, we are Maybe the notification doesn't have to be flashing, it could just be a color? Other than just white, I mean.

Good Point The blinking is actually what catchs my eye. Once, I got a profile message, and didn't even notice it until the sender sent me about 3 more wondering if I was ignoring them
--- which made me feel really bad ---

Good idea! I think this could definitely be put up for consideration. I can see pros and cons of it, but I think the pros outweigh the cons! I know what you mean, I try not to, but sometimes I leave or forget VMs. It is hard to remember.
