Default Delete UnUsEd Accounts?

Do you think that unused WI accounts should be deleted?
I, personally do:
-No one is using them, so why exsist, they are just using up the space on the WI member list.
-Someone else willing to join WI, and are going to USE their account might want a username, but it's already taken by an UNusED account.

I do get tired of looking for a WI member through tons of unused accounts. I might want to find someone I recently met on WI, unsure of their whole username. I just put in [say 'cool' for instance] a word and I get a lot of results yet, none seem to be used, therefore, your going through usernames of nothingness! When you could be looking at just 2-8 account names acially in use.

I know this may seem unfair to the owner, but if they ever come back, they can make a new account and USE it. I hope you understand my point of view It does annoy me a heap...

Default Re: Delete UnUsEd Accounts?

Sorry but this is out of the question for two reasons.

1-We don't reuse names, this would be very confusing. Say that someone else had been called Coolgirl27965 in 2007, and had then left. It would appear as if their old posts had been done by you. And if we deleted their old posts, those threads would no longer make sense.

2-Duplicate accounts are not allowed. If someone was here, stopped posting for a year, then came back, they must use the same old account. Only one account per member.

Yes it can be difficult to find a username that has not been used already. Mine was my second choice, first choice was already taken.
