Smile Creative Writing Suggestion

I have had several stories here on WI, and I absolutely LOVE to write. The members here are extremely encouraging and always inspiring. I know that this is probably a long shot, but I think it would be easier if WI somehow made the rules for the Creative Writing section slightly more lenient.

For instance: No kissing - perfectly understandable. I get that, but no physical contact period? You can't even hug or hold hands? If a character in my story has a love interest sh can't hold his hand?

Or another: No near death experiences? I understand that there should no death, but almost dying I think should be okay if it is done in a way that isn't gory or gruesome.

Maybe I'm just being whiny, but I feel like these rules need to be stretched...Just a little.
Does anyone agree?

I'm sorry but this is a children's forum. A lot of thought went into our current Creative Writing Rules, to make the stories suitable for everyone.
