This is just a reminder to those who have contests on WI. These are pretty much for WNTM contests.
With each season of a contest, hosts get greedier. They think that if nobody enters in the first 5 minutes that they should cancel the contest.
Just because you know a certain member well or are in your 3+ season, people may not post any faster.
If nobody posts within an hour of judging, you shouldn't make up your mind that nobody is going to post.
Some people are newer at posting pictures, so be patient. Don't eliminate someone because they can't figure out how to post. This was you once.
Don't be to harsh at judging. The point of these contests is for fun, not to lower self-esteem.
Set reasonable deadlines. If you post results, don't expect a bunch of pictures an hour later.
I know these are pretty much negative, but I see it happening more and more. I am the victim of a lot of these, and I know how it makes contestants feel. This was not to start fights, just to bring up issues that need to be addressed.
