Yes Ganz has that they may revoke your access to Webkinz World if you violate one of their rules like cheating or hacking. If they didn't do that then your pets would be gone and all of your stuff and the website would be down more because they would have to fix where people cheated and hacked into the system. So no disrespect but it is just a web accessible game that I think keeps kids out of trouble.

we (my parents) used the BBB when we wanted to complain about a hotel in flordia.

The BBB has no enforcement powers over any business. Also, unless a company is actually a member of the BBB they have no interest in anything that gets filed with the BBB in regards to them.

As much as we might like to see things change, Ganz is in no way accountable to anyone per the user agreement that pertains to the site. I know I wouldn't give them any points for good website maintenance, good programming, or good customer service, or even decent technical support.

Fact remains though that they will continue on as they have been unless their sales start declining. That's the only thing they're going to respond to - loss of revenue.

unfortunately, GANZ has that one slight edge above us: our addictions. if we strike openly, GANZ will find out and close our accounts. If we do it secretly, no one will know and nothing will be done. I am the niece of a lawyer, and i can find most loopholes. there isn't one.

pretty much, ganz told us that to play webkinz, we would have to take what we got and not get ticked off about it. We agreed, so now we are trapped. The best thing to do is to start a petition. which i will do shortly in the general chat area, anyone who wants a change can go, the title will be all in capitals

Well said both Mikki and Alcnor. Both are completely true. Unless something major really happens, it's painully obvious our voices aren't going to be heard. Everyone complains about how bad the customer service is, but in all actuality, you couldn't leave webkinz if you tried. As said, you're hooked, line & sinker. Now, I can tell that Webkinz does actually try to listen to us. Maybe not directly on the forums, but on the site too. It may not happen immediatly, but if you really want to get a point across, maybe you should all agree to post the same complaint to webkinz through Plumpy or the Submit area thing in the Newspaper? If enough people complain, they'll probably respond to you a lot quicker than through the BBB. Though I HIGHLY doubt they'll respond to the BBB at all. I think they do care about they're customers, they're not just heartlesss buisnessmen like you make it sound.

I am just updating everyone as some users had requested, that is all. Based on the many threads of disappointment by users on this site I took it upon myself to actual do something about it rather than complain to my computer screen. Whether they change the way they do business or not will certainly not make me lose sleep at night. I was merely making a statement regarding the way I believe their business should be improved. That simple. This is not a lawsuit or any ridiculous attempt to get anything more than good service for the goods users have purchased. Now if they were to cancel my account based on my right to voice my opinion to a well known organization that promotes good business...then and only then will they have a problem. I have many attorneys myself so I am not in the least concerned about the
ramifications of my simple action.

I hope this explains and will stop the negative responses that this thread has received.
