Default Children-run sites should not be allowed to advertise for on WI!

USA and Canada are both free countries. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and nobody should be bothered because of their own.

In the "Links to other Webkinz Sites" section, I think kid/teen-run sites should not be allowed to be posted. This is because these sites may not be safe, since all mods and admins are children! They don;t have expierience running a site, so why trust them?

Also, other webkinz sites, including run by members of BIGGER webkinz sites like WebkinzInsider, Kinz-Land (if that is still up, IDK, haven't checked my account in months) and Elubin, just get their information from those big sites! So, wouldn't that be almost scamming?

Just something I;ve been thinking about. You know how careful I am.

As said by MarionRavenWood.

We reall can't trust them, we need people with expierience...
Example:
cuteangel: I live at (says full address)
the someone reports to a moderator
Mod: Dont report her she's a classs mate!

I agree with you!
We really can't trust them,we need people with experience
to run these!
I can see a movie site like that but kids don't always make the right desicions
and they may take sides with a person if there should be rulebreaking.
Example:
cuteangel:I live at (says full adress)
the someone reports to moderator
Mod: Dont report her she's a classs mate!!
I make my point.

I could not agree more! Ugh, this site is just SOOO safe and I don't like to see the "free advertisement" on WI for unsafe sites.

I agree because some of the websites that have not acquired vBulletin with trustworthy moderaotrs and administrators have those chat boxes where you can write abseloutely anything and like a kid would know to never give out personal info, especially a young one!

Glad you brought this to our attention, ksoccer28.

That is a very interesting point you bring up, but who is to say what is run by kids and what is not? How could you tell just at glance? Would you need approval to post. That may be a lot to go through for a simple thread. I do agree we should be safe online though. I have mixed feelings on the matter. Oh and what website did you get that example off of?

She had gotten it off of http://***********.com.
I'm a mod there.
Check out the thread in the Links To Other Sites Section, and read my latest post about my feelings about kids running the sites.
Hope this helps.

I think you bring up a good point, but some kid-run sites may be safe. This is because some kids may have their parents be mods or help out. I do agree though. I also think a teen-run site may have inappropriate things in it that we the people can't stop. The only safe sites are sites run by adults. Or are they? Some adult-run sites are not safe either. I think their should only be sites run my RESPONSIBE adults. Maybe their should be a safety check you could run before going on a site so that you can be sure the site is safe. I would,'t have to run a safety check on this site, though.
