Sometimes I log in and see that people I've spoken to before have the word "Banned" under their name. Banned to me means never allowed back. Suspended, however, means privileges taken away, but can have them back. Is there a way that members who are not banned for life from the forum can instead have "Suspended" under their name? Many people I see are upset when they see a friend or member they speak to banned from the forum, and "Suspended" will allow us to know they can have their privileges back once again at some point.
I know we are not allowed to know what anyone did to get banned. This doesn't tell us what the member in trouble did, it just lets us know if they can come back or not.
Please post your thoughts on this and let me know if it's possible or not.
I am absolutely sure that when a person gets banned it was for an extremely good reason. Banning here isn't taken lightly and we have to respect the administrators decisions.
I don't think you understand the point this person is trying to make.
Sometimes people are banned temporarily, and sometimes it is permanently.
This user thinks that when someone is only banned temporarily, it should be called a "suspension" because they are going to come back.
