This is a great question! I posted my age one time in a post and got a reply back that I wasn't to post my age. (I am an adult- WAY over 18. lol) I think this is definatly a fuzzy rule. Some seem to follow ithe no ages rule while others do the 18 and under rule.
I can see why you would not want a youngster posting their age, because then a predator could zero in on them....BUT for a parent to post, for instance, that "My 2-yr-old just flipped a plant over"....or something like that....I just don't see the problem with that, because there is no way for someone to get to the child....I thought the no posting age rule was to protect the children???
no kids grades either
no 5th grade
no middle school
no age range between 10 and 12
OK, I changed it again....I've seen several gift exchanges where parents mention kids' ages....I think that's where I actually got the idea....So this really does need to be addressed...I can't remember any threads off-hand right now, but I do know that I've seen some recently....
