I personally think age limits would be unfair. I am relatively young myself, but have been told by many people I act like an adult, at least on the Internet. I think it would be fair to have a forum for more experienced members, aka, maybe those who have been on longer than 6 months, 12 months, etc.
I do agree with other users about the whole thing where older members can be a good influence on younger members.
But I do not agree with others by the fact on how some posts are really unnecessary, like creating mini-little chat thread things about nothing really spectacular. I think you should create a thread for a reason that has a little bit of meaning to it, not just something when you're bored like "yo guys i'm bored!!" i know mods close those pretty quickly, but they take up space for more important topics.

I agree with you 100% and it has always been one of the things I have believed on here.
I have told this little story before, so here we go again.
Back when I first joined about a year ago, I made childish posts, gave rep randomly, and probably did every other annoying thing here that all of you adults try to escape. But, I watched other people on here. I watched the strong influences on here, and most of them happened to be "older people." I started to try to be like them, being mature, helpful, and nice. Now, after following their example,I don't think I turned out half bad.
So, for all of you who want to eliminate childish posts, and other things, don't hide in an adult only section, be a role model, and lead by example.
I love the way you put this! Being a good role model is one thing that sets a member apart.. I am an admin on another group, and one of the things I try to do is help teach the younger ones how to be good members, how to post, how to communicate, etc. I have had so many compliments from these members parents, who send me emails thanking me for helping teach their children how to be safe and how to better communicate. There is nothing that makes me feel better than to know that I have helped someone learn something new and then see that same person turn around and teach the same thing to someone new!
