Lastly, becuase you buy that many Webkinz, does not mean that every family does, and it does not have to be an expensive hobby if you don't want it to be. I know I don't buy all that many, which does not make it expensive. I'm not saying that there is anything wrong with you buying that many Webkinz, but I'm just saying not everyone buys the same amount of Webjubz as you do.Don't be so quick to judge next time, because every financial situation is unique, and has special circumstances.
well said, lillypad!!!

sometimes its hard for someone who has lots to understand how someone else might not AND understand how they could have owned things before things went badly.

If they cant afford food and the basic necessities why would they be surfing the internet and playing with webkinz. Its not exactly a cheap hobby. It costs me over a hundred a month with the amount of webkinz I own. I just think if people could afford to buy webkinz and buy internet access for their homes they should be able to donate a few bucks if they are utilizing this site. Its not cheap. I just think if they cant afford food and necessities and they are buying webkinz something is wrong with that situation.
see lillypad's post.

This is a great place!

Justin and Wendy deserve all the support that they can get. Thanks to EVERYONE who has donated... It's such a wonderful gift to give.

That made no sence to me at all.
i think i wasn't making enough sense . people can get webkinz as gifts. so its all free! lillypad is correct that schools require internet access. yes, there's the library but its not really feasible for a busy family. plus, on day 1, they could have had enough money to buy say 30 webkinz. a few months or year later, they lost their job (or took a paycut or got divorced, etc.) and cannot even afford food. i am friends with a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. the dad just died suddenly (heart attack). the kids have 10+ webkinz a piece. their financial situation just changed drastically but they still have what they had.

unfortunately, not everyone is secure in their world.

that being said: those who can and would like to, its a great idea!
