I would like to point out that this is asking the adults, but it is always nice to read that someone wants to help out. I will also tell you that your perents are smart for not trusting a internet site just because it seams nice and normal. I happens I work in IT and understand the cost of running a site and I try to give what I can when I can to my faverite sites to help out. This is one of the sites that will receive a portion of my ax return when I get it back.

But Justin and Wendy are not asking for money and don't think you have to give to be part of WI. There is enough adults that care about WI to help out, but the Idea of giving $10-15 instead of buying the next Webby maybe the best idea I have heard in a while.

It costs me over a hundred a month with the amount of webkinz I own. I just think if people could afford to buy webkinz and buy internet access for their homes they should be able to donate a few bucks if they are utilizing this site. Its not cheap. some people may have gotten webkinz as gifts, and i know here in minnestoa we have city wide wifi where you can have internet access for only around $5-10 a month. i have a friend who is a 20 year old mom who lives in a rented room. she borrows the computer and the internet from the woman she rents the room from. she and her baby have a bedroom and bathroom, thats it. it is hard to know a persons situation, and we are not here to judge. let us all just be thankful to have this wonderful site, and appreciate all that justin and wendy and all the other people who run it do!

moo you are totally right but I think you totally missed the point I was making. I did not mean any offense to people who have no money and are unable to afford things I was trying to understand that why would they be buying webkinz and not buy their children food and other necessities. That made no sence to me at all.

I wish I could donate to this great site, but I don't meet the agreements (18 years old+). Oh well, I guess I can ask my mom/dad!

Good point you shouldn't be buying webkinz if you can't buy food. even if you can only donate a dollar or 2 it will be helping out those $$$ add up.

I plan to donate, I know this does cost money to run. I also click the ads by google, as I know that they get a small amount of cash that way.
