Red face [SOLVED] Need help from a staff member, please

Hi,

I cannot read my PMs. I currently have a flashing red notification that I have a PM waiting but when I try to read it, and click on it, I just get directed to the person's profile and the message itself will not open.

This happened a few days ago and I thought it was a glitch. Since I don't send or receive many PMs I didn't notice until today that the problem is still there.

I have closed my browser, cleared all temp files, cookies, etc., and logged back in. I just simply cannot open the waiting PM. Could someone on staff help me with this, please?

you have to click on the message topic after their name otherwise you get their profile

Maybe try to go to your inbox, then click the message title itself not the person to send it.

Black Labs is right.

This is what a message should appear like in your inbox, for example:

Emily7921: Hi Boudica!

You have been clicking on the 'Emily7921' part.. which is the username, which will lead to the person's profile.
You need to click on the 'Hi Boudica' part, which is the actually subject title.

Thanks everyone but the problem is that it won't allow me to click on the topic. I can only click on the sender's name.

What do yo mean if you move the mouse over the topic it will underline and thats wher you click

Wow! Do I ever feel dense now! I finally figured out what all of you were saying! Geez! Talk about embarassing myself! ???

I appreciate all the help. I haven't sent or received many PMs since I joined so I'm not too used to what I need to do yet.

I dunno why the simplest thing went right over my head but it did. Thanks to every single person who helped! I'm gonna give rep points to all you kind people.

hmmmmm strange..try doing the clear cache/reboot the computer thing, it may very well be just misbehaving for you!! hope it clears up for you!
